Other facts, to think about A woman with sagging breast, should also lift them when she have the operation, otherwise may the result look very strange... If you lift your breast, can you get an internal "laser bra" with help of the extra skin, that keep your new breast in place... And finally should you naturally make your nipples slightly longer and always erect, at the same time... But over 22 mm long nipples, look only silly... The total cost in USA differ a lot, from 3000 usd in some states to 8000 in New York... And Canada is cheaper... Some Dangers and the best alternatives, with other implants A big study 1997 show that the risk of any complications, is around 12% for saline (salt water filled) implants, which was the safest, before Cgi's... The most common problem (a 9% risk according to two big study's) is severe "capsular contracture" that occur IF the scar tissue shrink and squeeze the implant, making the breast feel hard and look strange... It may also be painful and you must then have a new operation... That problem is slightly less common, if the implant is placed under the breast muscles (submuscular) but that is a little more complicated operation and are normally not possible for really big boobs... Relatively high doses of vitamin E (the first year or longer) says reduce the making of scar tissue... Then believe many surgeons that a super sterile technique (the Mladick No Touch Technique, which prevent dust and skin bacteria) are very effective...
The second biggest problem was deflation (the water or liquid silicon leak out) which is a 4% risk in 3 years and 10% in 6 years... But that is naturally no problem with the new cgi's... And the implant last only 5-15 years (the new Cgi's may last longer, of several reasons) so it must be replaced with time... Another problem is that the implant may wrinkle (if it not are filled to the optimum, or of the new Cgi type) but that is not visible with the position, under the breast muscle... Some implant need also some "overfill" to not wrinkle... And the submuscular position, hold also the implant in place and prevent sagging... A rare complication with bad submuscular operations, is that the muscles can come loose between the breast (symmastia) so the cleft (deep crack) disappear and this can not be corrected from outside, the implants must first be removed...
You should avoid the surgical technique (periareolar) when the incision (placement) is made in the areola (the dark ring) around the nipple and breast tissue is cut to place the implant, because it may damage the nerves around the nipple and cut off all feelings...
